It is a crisp 5 degrees this morning in Edmonton. The trailer has been winterized and I'll soon be moving my plants to some new locations for next spring! I sense that autumn is upon us though officially the calendar says it is still summer. The yellow leaves are falling to the ground from our birch trees and earth is beginning to change.
Wendy and I are off to Peace River for a special dinner with the corps tonight and then over to Grande Prairie so we are there for their service tomorrow morning. Next weekend I'm in Fort McMurray. Travel is a large part of this new role and I'm enjoying it very much.
Jason reports his candidates case will go to the Territorial Candidates Board in November as he begins the final preparations for entry to College next September.
Phil reports that he's enjoying heavy construction and now has oversight of 3 other "monkeys".
Wendy and I continue to learn...the social service component presents a steep learning curve but we are slowly getting a handle on it. So off on the road we go again!
