Obama or Harper

We've seen history being made as Barack Obama has been nominated, and has accepted the same, as the Presidential Candidate for the Democratic Party. This USA event should have some of your attention. Not that you can likely vote but the choice of a candidate means that one of these men will be the next President and their position on a host of topics will effect our economy. What is most obvious to everyone but the American nation, it would seem, is the reason why George W. Bush and a number of previous administrations are so hated around the world. The USA foreign policy is the real reason...

In fact I nearly laughed out loud as President Bush called upon the Russians to leave Georgia and respect the established borders. Are you kidding me...as the USA troops (are in about 150 countries) are presently in Iraq, Afghanistan, Cuba...from Newsleader.com comes this article:

"Our war with Germany ended in 1944; we still have 58,894 troops there. In Japan there's more than 50,000. How about Korea where the hostilities ended in 1953? There are still 27,114 there. It goes on and on. Especially in Europe where we've kept troops in many of the countries there. There are 10,216 plus and even in Spain where there are 1,410 stationed. Portugal, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo/Serbia. And it goes on and on ... Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Africa. "

Meanwhile in Canada it would seem we too will soon be into election season. Our election, not called yet will be campaigned upon, voted and concluded before the next President gets a chance to make his first speech. I must admit though that while our process is quick the American process does seem to engender a great deal more excitement.

Should you wish to be part of the Obama Mania you can buy one of these or other things here!

I'm glad I don't have to vote in the U.S. both candidates scare me and why an unknown as Vice-President with John McCain? It seems that Politicians make too many promises before they are elected then when the pressure is on they don't live up to them. I can only pray that our Prime Minister is one whom the Lord chooses and is Divinely directed.
