To start - a photo from our last morning in Kananaskis. Doesn't that just make you want to go climbing?
We were at Edmonton Temple this morning. They used a Donna Peterson tune to the song: "Nothing but thy blood." What a great song with this melody it really stands out. It is probably what I will take away with me from the service.

You can see my next blog contribution to Salvationist.ca and read one of my contributions which I wrote back in November entitled "Missing the good life". Not sure why it took so long to get posted but now I'll move on to writing the next one. I love writing! Though I wish I was better at it.
Did you know that in my "perfect day" I am a writer with time to read and study? And that it is set on the edge of an Ontario lake in the autumn with lots of colourful trees around me? Do you know what the "Perfect Day" exercise is? We use it in the ELDP to help people determine what they really want.
So what do you really want? If time, money, age, gender, circumstance of any kind could not keep you from doing what you want, what would it be? Where would it be? What age would you be? Can you imagine who might be with you, what people you would want with you...and what people you wouldn't want with you? What would your actions accomplish, who would you help? What difference would you life make to the world?
Lots of questions, but of course that's the point to really focus on the answers within us. Inside us is the answer to many questions...to many of the problems we struggle with, and if we can focus on answering those things then we can find within us the answer.
Finally - I dropped a new battery in our 1998 Toyota Corolla today...yes, that's right... I did it! The old battery couldn't take the cold temperatures. At any rate - I would like to sell this car within the next month, so if you know anyone looking for a reliable, well cared for vehicle (under $5000) send them my way.

Nice blog! Thanks for visiting my site too and leaving a nice comment. I, too, would love to do nothing but talk with people, read, study and write! My ideal life. I'm gonna link to your new blog on Salvationist.ca! I also have a more personal blog like this one www.kathiechiu.com -it's a blogger site too.
Take care... keep writing because you really are a good writer!
