The pictures come off the walls

I'm packing up my office to move down the hallway, filing documents, shredding others, transferring electronic materials - all things that you really can't see. Entering into my office you'll see the real evidence of change. Down from the shelves, off the walls, come the things which my office "home like".

Wendy made me a hanging quilt when we were in Calgary. It depicts a train in the mountains running along a tressle. There's my green boat that is really a small set of shelves, and of course the photographs of family. I have a heart on my wall that was hand made by Cheryl. I've also got the two large pictures; one of the woods and the other contrasting it is the Space Shuttle lifting off of Cape Kennedy.

These outword signs of change are part of our changing world. Of course change means saying good-bye to some and tonight we shared a bbq (started outside but moved in doors to do cool winds) with Eric and Donna. We've really enjoyed working with them and have learned much from this experience. Above all other things it has been fun.

We pray that the LORD will continue to bless their lives and leadership. This photo is from less than 2 years ago as they were installed as the Divisonal Leaders.
